FireWire Card

A FireWire Card allows digital data at a speed of 400 Mbps transfer from one device to the computer. The FireWire Card is used to accelerate the transfer of data from digital cameras and camera. The FireWire Card was created in 1995 by Sony, Apple, and Panasonic. Another name for the card is the 1394.

Step 6 the computer will display a wizard to add new hardware on the screen. Click the "Next" button in the window that appears. By clicking on the "Next" button will display a window to another Wizard.
Step 7 search select the option "to the driver for your device" and again, click "Next". The add hardware wizard will present another window afterwards.
Step 8 disable all options check box and click 'Finish' to Windows 98. Choose the option "update drivers ' if the operating system is Windows 98 SE and click the"Finish"button."
Step 9 will be necessary to restart the computer to apply your changes and complete the installation of the driver.
Step 10 check if FireWire Card installation is correct. Right click on the icon "My computer" desktop and drop-down list, select 'Properties'. Open the Device Manager tab and double click on the left on the 1394 bus driver option. There must be an OHCI-compliant IEEE1394 is represented in it. Repeat the Setup process if it is not, only that this time, place in a different PCI slot FireWire Card.
